Re: Diamond engagement/ wedding rings....yay or nay?

That was publish in NYT. I for one, am ok with the wedding ring fad disappearing. Just a deliberate attempt to make peopel compete with each other, and in the end there's only one winner.....DeBeers.

Re: Nationalism...is it ultimately a strength or a weakness?

What happened in Charlottesville is bigotry and hatred, pure and simple. Dressing it up as "alt right" doesn't hide the stench of racism.

I have yet to see Trump accomplish anything that impresses me, aside from taking more vacation time in his first 100 days than any president in history...

Anybody here play poker at all? If so, cash or tournaments? What stakes? Where? And any crazy hands worth mentioning?
I dabble online, played a few casinos. Mostly 1/2 cash games. Ive never played a tournament, nor do I want to because of how much luck is required to win vs. cash games.

Re: Meat/dairy industry

Healthy vegetarians do exist, they're just hard to find because of the lack of variety in a non meat diet. Make no mistake though, meat eaters are just as unhealty, if not more....

The worst thing is that noone is looking into this. The argument is going to be "well its his island, he can do what ever he wants". But how many people do you know with a ritualistic temple in their back yard?
Yeah agreed. It definitely serves some bizarre significance....

Re: Jeffrey Epstein, billionaire pedophile

I've been reading into this and it's really disturbing. Epstein is entirely too close to all of these elites, and has anyone seen the temple structure on his pedo island? GPS LIttle St. James Island, and take a look for yourself. Why does this man have a temple on his island??

What if you had to pay to watch it? I think that would not eliminate, but definitely reduce the amount of kids watching porn.

The purveyors would never make it that hard, the point is easy access in order to normalize it.

I don't have a system percentage wise of how much to put in my savings. I usually try to put half of my weekly check in my savings. Is it really that important to have a percentage? Yes it is, because you need to have a metric to stick by. It's not really management if you're not sticking to a pred...
